Here are three of my stitched postcards. These are watercolor backgrounds on heavy watercolor paper, then stitched on my old Singer Athena 2000. One has an embellishment. These are so rexlaxing and fun to do.

The last of the current batch of mixed media postcards. These have a variety of things sewn or glued to the surface (fabric, feathers, pieces of water colors that didn't quite make it as a painting, and clear word labels. I used a variety of media on top of the water color backgrounds -- more paints, oil pastels, and colored pencils. The piece on the left is made by brushing rubber cement across a piece of watercolor paper, letting it dry completely, and then watercoloring over it. Then tearing it and adding to a watercolor background.
Three more mixed media postcards. The bottom one is on water color background and the top two are a technique taught to me by Bill Tippie -- a very fun watercolor technique with mixed media added on top.

Here are three multi-media postcards I have in my booth for sale; the backgrounds are various hand decorated papers (L to R water color wash, Lumieres, shaving cream & reinkers).
