In the Misty Moonlight was so easy and fun. I spread Amanda's white and pale pink wool roving thinly across a preprinted piece of sky fabric, added glass and frame, and presto! Done. I think it looks really cool close up -- click on it to see. Now why do I spend so much time on those others???

My husband really really liked this one and because it didn't sell, I gave it to him. He so rarely asks for anything and I was flattered that he liked it so much. He usuall likes my simpler cards over my more complicated or collage cards.
(I would have made him one if this had sold!!!).

Apparently fabric art doesn't lend itself well to photography, because I think they look better in person. I have In The Misty Moonlight hanging in front of my computer, so I could compare the image with the real deal and there is no comparison. The image has washed out colors from the camera flash and no depth. I think a lot of the essence of the fabric landscapes is the result of the fine detail of the woven fabric and stitching, which is largely missing in a compressed JPG image. In The Moonlight is my favorite.
