misty/foggy effect and a different way to do the sky. Over the years this has become more and more a favorite of mine. I've always loved cat tails -- perhaps the name???). I now have this framed in gold and it really sets it off.
I started this blog to share what I create with other like-minded artists, to share the artwork of my friends, to share the blogs and web sites of others that I enjoy, and eventually to add some things for sale.

It's a favorite of mine too -- just perfect with a foggy look and that glint of sunlight in the background -- fantastic!
This is so beautiful! I'd love to know more about this technique. I had to click over here from your comment on Lin's blog because I loved the photo of you with the giant cat and had to see who you were. Your work is very interesting and it sounds like you've found a wonderful teacher. I liked what you said about learning to love the process rather than the product!
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!! Talent just oozes from you. How lovely to the eyes. So dreamy, Lorraine. Just so dreamy. Colors, balance, and subject is all so appealing. You never cease to amaze me!!!!!! Your watercolors are simply beautiful. I just love this one.
