This is my Oct. fabric postcard for the QAK swap.
I got the idea from a new quilting book called:
Creative Fabric Weaving by Julie Higgins.
I had stamped some leaves on ultrasuede and cut them out but then couldn't bear to cover up all that variagated stitching! So, having one plain block, I stamped it instead.

OMG Absolutely beautiful! I'd heard of fabric postcards but I'd never seen one! THanks so much for sharing.

Lorraine, you really know how to match colors!!! This is so pretty and just so pleasing to the eye. I love the stamped leaf in the center. The symmetry of the color blocks is so perfect. It is so rich and lucious!

This postcard is gorgeous -- and very different from the other ones you've done! Marvelous choice of colors; and you wouldn't need a special embroidery machine to do what you did! I think you should expand this to some "altered wearable art" (which I guess is the latest thing out there!).
